Starting his training in photography at the age of twelve, Christopher attended both Syracuse University and the University of New Mexico to obtain his BFA in Photography in the late 1980’s.
Upon returning to New York, Christopher worked for three years at one of NY’s largest table top/motion control production companies, where he made the transition from photography to film.
After 14 years as a camera assistant, and two years as an operator, Christopher bought a Steadicam, and took Garrett Brown’s course in Pennsylvania. He has traveled throughout North Africa and the Middle East on film projects, and enjoys the challenges of filming in new, exotic locations.
Several years back Christopher started his DP career as well, shooting short films, Industrials, and being the contributing DP on two documentaries; “The Innocence Project” and “Wrestling with Angels: Playwright Tony Kushner.”
