Jordan Leibert [ resume ]
Hailing from Chicago, Jordan Leibert began her career in film working with a company called Chicago Film Works as their in-house producer. During her three years there, she produced commercial spots for Ford, Sears, Taco Bell, Budweiser, Burger King, Nissan, Pizza Hut, Marshalls Fields, Sears and many more.
Ms. Leibert was then recruited by Paramount Pictures to head up the development and finance department for The Robert Evans Company. The next five years were spent in studio life negotiating rights for feature films including “The Saint” and “Sliver”. After leaving the studio world to become an independent film maker, Jordan has produced and line produced over fifty features. Some of her credits included: Tip Toes starring Matthew McConaughey, Gary Oldham, Kate Beckinsale and Patricia Arquette; Chinaman’s Chance starring Ernest Borgnine, Danny Trejo, Timothy Bottoms, and Jason Connery; Presence Of Mind with Jude Law, Lauren Bacall, Harvey Keitel and Sadie Frost; Family Tree with Robert Forster, Naomi Judd, Cliff Robertson and Matt Lawrence; Ballad Of The Nightingale with Virginia Madsen, Maria Grazia Cucinotta and Harry Dean Stanton; Man Of God with Peter Weller, Nikki Reed and Jason Behr; and Dark Honeymoon with Roy Scheider, Daryl Hanna and Tia Carrera. Ms. Leibert is currently Head of Production at Creanspeak Productions and is in development on several upcoming projects.
Ms. Leibert has also produced twelve episodes of Red Shoe Diaries for Showtime and has produced several independent documentaries, music videos, and training programs for major corporations.
Ms. Leibert has also presided over the prestigious New Filmmakers Program, sponsored by Warner Bros., Kodak and Panavision. She has been a member of the DGA for six years as a Unit Production Manager and is also a member of Woman In Film.
