Mary Margaret O’Neill [ resume ]
Mary Margaret is a graduate of Brandeis University having obtained a MFA in Costume Design in 1999. She has worked as a costume designer for film, television, and theatre for almost a decade and has been involved with numerous productions on both the East and West coasts. Additionally, she has worked on numerous assignments as a stylist for television commercials and print ads.
Mary Margaret has been lead designer for numerous productions. Notably, she designed on the yet to be released movie “Feel” directed by Matt Mahurin, starring Billy Baldwin, Tom Bower, and Kevin Corrigan and currently designing the feature “Calling It Quits” being directed by Anthony Tarsitano and starring Dennis Boutsikaris, Glory Gallo, Kristen Bush and Robert Clohessey. She has designed for numerous theatrical productions and television shows which include: “All God’s Chillun’ Got Wings” directed by Dan Wackerman at New York’s West Beth Theatre, “Fast Hands” directed by Israel Horowitz at the Gloucester Stage Theatre, “The Hospital Plays” and “The Subway Plays” produced by William Carden for New York’s HB Playwrights, EST Marathon (Ensemble Studio Theatre) 2003 series in New York, “Durang: 12 One Acts” directed by Susan Shaw and Jeff Wax at the Dark Water Theatre in Maine; and “The Physicists” directed by Rex McGraw at New York’s Oberon Theatre.
Mary Margaret has also been assistant costume designer on numerous features. The movies she has assisted on include: “Hitch”, “Margaret”, “The Ballad of Jack and Rose”, “Twilight, Los Angeles”, and “Carry Me Home”. The television series she has assisted on include “Rescue Me” (pilot and seasons one, two, and three) starring Denis Leary, “Law and Order”, “Cover Me”, “Manhattan, AZ”, “Guiding Light”, and “All My Children”. She has also assisted on the theatrical production of Wicked.
Mary Margaret has also been a stylist for numerous commercials, concerts and print shoots for Lifetime, Nickelodeon, Good Morning American, and The Loser’s Lounge.
